Thomas Jensen is different
Anders Thomas Jensen (born April 6, 1972 in Frederiksværk ) is a Danish director , screenwriter and actor. In 2005 he received the Nordisk Film Prize .
Jensen has appeared as a director and screenwriter since the mid-1990s.
His three films Ernst and the Light , Wolfgang and Wahlnacht were each nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Short Film, where he won the film award for Election Night 1999. The film After the Wedding , for which he wrote the script together with Susanne Bier , was nominated in the Oscar category Best Foreign Language Film in 2007. In 2011 Susanne Bier won the Oscar for In a Better World as the best foreign language film, for which Jensen also wrote the script.
Jensen is married to the actress Line Kruse , who has starred in his films, Danish Delicacies and In China They Eat Dogs .
