André Bedoglouyan ICPB (born February 18, 1920 in Zahlé , Bekaa , Lebanon ; † April 13, 2010 ) was Patriarchal Exarch in Jerusalem and Amman .

Life

André Bedoglouyan joined the religious order of the Institut du Clergé Patriarcal de Bzommar and was ordained a priest on December 25, 1945 . Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 24, 1971 titular bishop of Comana Armeniae and auxiliary bishop in Cilicia .

The Patriarch of Cilicia Iknadios Bedros XVI. Batanian donated him episcopal ordination on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Georges Layek , Archbishop of Aleppo and Hemaiag Guedikian CAM , Vicar General in Beirut .

On November 5, 1994, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation. In 1994 he was named Patriarchal Exarch in Jerusalem and Amman . He resigned from his office in 2001.
