André Großfeld

André Großfeld (born September 12, 1977 in Telgte ) is a German chef.

Career

After training with Alfons Schuhbeck in Waging am See , Großfeld went to Marinas and Wollenberg in Hamburg in 1999 and returned to Schuhbeck again in 2000. In 2001 he moved to the two-star restaurant Tantris under Hans Haas in Munich and in 2004 to Brick Main Plaza in Frankfurt am Main . From 2005 to 2014 he was the owner of Grossfeld in Friedberg- Dorheim, where he was awarded a Michelin star for many years and since 2012 with 16 points in Gault Millau . At the end of 2014 he closed the restaurant.

In February 2015 he leased the Villa Merton restaurant , which has been awarded a Michelin star since 2016.
