André Huebscher (born January 8, 1989 in Moers ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Moskitos Essen in the ice hockey league since the 2019/20 season .

Career

Huebscher played for the Krefelder EV in his childhood , for which he was honored as an outstanding scorer in the 2001/02 season as a boy, after scoring 79 goals and 40 assists in 21 appearances in his age group. The winger then wore the jersey of the KEV students 31 times and scored a total of 46 goals and 74 points during this time . In addition, the Krefeld native went through the selection teams of the U-13, U-14 and U-15 in the NRW support league. A serious injury prevented him from jumping into the DNL squad of the Rhinelander during the 2003/04 season .

In the next season, however, Huebscher was on the ice for KEV in the German Junior League, again a protracted muscle injury forced him to sit out a total of 10 games, so that he was only the sixth-best scorer in the team with seven goals and 17 points.

For the 2004/05 season , the attacker was finally appointed to the professional squad of the Krefeld Penguins from the German Ice Hockey League for the first time , but played with a funding license mainly in the DNL team of the Krefeld EV. Under the new coach Igor Pavlov , André Huebscher was part of the DEL penguins' regular squad from the 2008/09 season . For the 2010/11 season he was signed by ERC Ingolstadt and sent to the Landshut Cannibals as a loan player during the season . In June 2011 Huebscher received a contract with the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg from the German Ice Hockey League. In 41 games of the main round and three play-off games for the Grizzlies, he scored three goals himself and prepared six.

In July 2012 Huebscher was signed by the Dresdner Eislöwen from the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2013 he switched to the Füchsen in Duisburg. After six years in which he scored 120 goals and 231 assists in 242 games in Duisburg, Huebscher moved to the Moskitos Essen .
