André Luiz Barreto Silva Lima (born May 3, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
The striker Lima played for Botafogo in the Brazilian championship in 2007 . He scored twelve goals for his club up to 23 August and was the most successful goalscorer after the 20th matchday together with Josiel da Rocha from Paraná Clube . He was also successful in the Copa Sudamericana for the team from Rio.
At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved to the Berlin club Hertha BSC for 3.5 million euros (€) . After only one season, in which he scored two goals in sixteen appearances in the Bundesliga , he was loaned to São Paulo FC for the 2008/09 season; the rental fee was an estimated € 800,000. In summer 2009 it was awarded to Botafogo for half a year . The rental fee was € 150,000. In February 2010 it was awarded to Fluminense Rio de Janeiro for one year . The rental fee was € 500,000. There is also a purchase option. Since June 22, 2010, the Brazilian has been passed on to Grêmio FBPA until October 2010 .
