André Schei Lindbæk (born November 1, 1977 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian football player . The striker proved himself to be a wandering bird in his career and since his adult debut in 1995 he has played for 13 different clubs in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Iceland and Germany.

Career

Lindbæk comes from the youth of Lyn Oslo , whom he left in 1995 as a junior player for Nordstrand IF . In the fourth division he played one season, then he joined Drøbak-Frogn IL in the second division. After two years at the club, he moved to the third division for Abildsø IL , before moving on to Kongsvinger IL in the Tippeligaen on loan after a half series in the summer . As a supplementary player, he came to five appearances by the end of the 1998 season , in which he scored a goal - in the 3-1 home defeat by Vålerenga Oslo .

In early 1999, Lindbæk joined the first division promoted Skeid Oslo . At his new club he was a regular player straight away and became a regular goal scorer. At the side of Lennart Steffensen , Espen Grina and Erik Noppi , he was in a relegation battle until the summer despite his twelve goals this season. In August he finally moved within the league to Molde FK , with whom he moved into the UEFA Cup as runner-up behind Rosenborg BK . In the following years he was never able to stay in the starting line-up, but came to 19 league goals in his three and a half years for the club. After a second place under coach Gunder Bengtsson at the end of the 2002 season , he left Norway.

Lindbæk joined the Spanish club UD Las Palmas in the Segunda División . However, after he had stayed without a stake in the first two months and the club, which was in financial difficulties, had not paid a wage, he was released from his contract in January 2003. He then ended the season with league rivals CD Numancia . After playing his last game for the club in April 2003, he returned to Norway in July and signed a three-year contract with Viking Stavanger . Ultimately, however, he only stayed with the club for just over half a year, as UD Las Palmas asked again in February 2004 and Lindbæk signed a two-year contract after receiving a bank confirmation. In the Spanish second division, however, he was only one of the supplementary players and shortly after signing the contract, the club wanted to get rid of him again. Therefore, he changed clubs again in July of that year.

Lindbæk joined Landskrona BoIS in Allsvenskan in summer 2004 , where he signed a three-year contract. Shortly after his debut for the new club, he injured himself and only made three appearances in the 2004 season . If he was ready for action again at the beginning of the following season, he was out again for a long time in the summer. In the summer of 2006 he and the club finally separated and Lindbæk moved to FH Hafnarfjörður in Iceland before moving to Denmark in March 2007. At the second division club Køge BK , however, he only stayed for a short time, in July he signed regional division Rot-Weiss Essen . Under coach Heiko Bonan and his successor Michael Kulm, he did not prevail due to an Achilles tendon injury and missed qualification for the third division with the relegated second division . Since his contract was not valid for the fourth division, he was then without a club.
