Andraimon (father of Thoas)
Andraimon ( Greek Ἀνδραίμων ) is in Greek mythology the founder of the city of Amphissa in western Lokris .
Andraimon marries Gorge , one of the daughters of Oineus , king of Pleuron and Kalydon in Aetolia . After Oineus, whom the sons of his brother Agrios had robbed of his rule and imprisoned, had been freed by his grandson Diomedes , he transferred the rule to Andraimon and withdrew himself with Diomedes to Argos .
With Gorge he sired Thoas , who led the 40 ships of the Aetolians in the Trojan War and was one of the Greeks who hid in the Trojan horse . In the Bibliotheke of Apollodor is Oxylus , son of Haimon and grandson of Thoas, led the son of Andraemon.
In Amphissa, his tomb was shown at the time of Pausanias .
