Andrea Jane Corr (born May 17, 1974 in Dundalk , Ireland ) is the lead singer of the group The Corrs , which consists of her three siblings Sharon , Caroline and Jim. She also plays tin whistle there .

Life

Andrea Corr is the youngest of the four siblings. Like her sisters, she went to school at the “Dun Lughaidh Convent” and was considered the best student among the siblings. She lives in Dublin .

In the last few years she has been advancing her acting career in addition to music. In 2005 Andrea Corr and her siblings were honored with the MBE by Elisabeth II . Andrea Corr's first solo album was released in June 2007. It's called Ten Feet High .

Andrea Corr married Brett Desmond, Irish stockbroker, on August 21, 2009. On April 28, 2012, the couple announced the birth of a daughter. Corr gave birth to their son on January 4, 2014.
