Andrea Costa (born February 1, 1986 in Reggio nell'Emilia ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Costa's career began with his hometown club, AC Reggiana . After he was accepted into the professional squad in 2003, he completed ten games for Reggiana in his 2003/04 debut season. In the first half of the following season he came on six more missions before moving to Bologna FC in January 2005 . For this he played in the second half of the 2004/05 season , in which Bologna was relegated to Serie B , no game. He was used regularly in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons . After eight more games in the first half of the 2007/08 season , he moved to first division club Reggina Calcio in January 2008 . For this he played ten games in the second half of the 2007/08 season . In the 2008/09 season Costa was able to play in the regular eleven and completed 36 games for Reggina and scored one goal, but rose with the club. In the two following seasons, Costa remained an important part of the team, but moved to Sampdoria Genoa in the summer of 2011 for one million euros . In his first season for Samp, he was able to celebrate an immediate return to Serie A and completed 25 league games. In the following two seasons he was able to hold onto the Blucerchiati in the top division. For the 2014/15 season he moved to league rivals FC Parma . After its bankruptcy, Costa moved to FC Empoli for the 2015/16 season .

In the summer of 2017, Costa moved to Benevento Calcio .
