Massimo Coda (born November 10, 1988 in Cava de 'Tirreni ) is an Italian football player .
Career
Coda began his career at the age of ten with the SS Cavese , for which he was active in youth until 2005, and came on two league appearances. He moved to AC Bellinzona , for which he made 21 games in his first year. After a loan to Cisco Roma , for which he scored his first two goals in 26 games, he joined the Treviso FBC in 1993 . There he did not get a chance in his first six months and was loaned out to FC Crotone to gain match practice. There, however, not very satisfied with only two missions, he switched to US Cremonese in 2008 . This was his first stop where he could show his potential, scoring 24 goals in 81 league games. Through his performances, the first division club FC Bologna became aware of him and signed him in the summer of 2011. Since he did not play in the first half of the 2011/12 season, he was awarded to the US Siracusa , for which he scored two goals in 14 games. Also in the following season it was awarded, this time to San Marino Calcio . He was also able to perform there and scored ten goals in 30 games.
Nevertheless, he could not prevail at Bologna and moved to league rivals FC Parma . This awarded Coda to the Slovenian club ND Gorica during the 2013/14 season , for whom he scored 18 goals in 33 appearances. For the 2014/15 season he returned to Parma and should heat up the competition there by storm . On August 31, 2014, he made his Serie A debut in the 1-0 defeat by AC Cesena when he came on for Jonathan Biabiany . After being substituted on in the following game against AC Milan , he was able to influence the game against AC Chievo Verona in favor of Parma in his third game as a substitute with his first Serie A goal and two assists and celebrate a 3-2 win.
After Parma's bankruptcy in 2015, Coda moved to US Salernitana , for which he played for two years. In the summer of 2017, Coda switched to Benevento Calcio .
