Jonathan Ludovic Biabiany (born April 28, 1988 in Paris ) is a French football player.

Career

In the club

Jonathan Biabiany, whose parents come from the French overseas department of Guadeloupe , began his career in 2000 as a youth at the local sports club Blanc-Mesnil Sports. There he played until July 2004, after which he moved to the youth academy of the Italian top club Inter Milan . There he was also called Jonathan Begora .

Together with Sebastián Ribas he played in the youth academy and completed in January 2007, just like Ribas his first game with the professionals in the Coppa Italia against FC Empoli . In August 2007 he was awarded to Chievo Verona for half a year , but where he did not play a single game. In January 2008, he was the in the Series B -spielenden FC Modena awarded, also for six months, with an option for another year. This was also noticed and Biabiany played 53 games and scored nine goals during his time in Modena.

In July 2009 he was awarded to FC Parma and played first class again . He played a few games for Parma, but after playing for the U-21 national team, he had a long injury break until the end of November.

On February 1, 2010, Parma received half of the transfer rights from Biabiany, following the agreement and the move from McDonald Mariga to Inter. But in June 2010 Inter bought the transfer rights of both players for a total of 10 million euros. The FC Parma announced at a press conference that the actual sum is slightly less than 9.5 million euros. On July 13th, Biabiany said in an interview that it was a pleasure to be "home" like this again. He played his first league game for Inter on August 30 in a 0-0 draw against FC Bologna when he came on for Diego Milito in the 81st minute . A game later he got his appearance on the starting line-up against Udinese Calcio . In the 62nd minute, when the score was 1-1, he was substituted for Goran Pandev , only five minutes later Inter received a penalty and Samuel Eto'o only managed to get the ball into the goal in the margin. He made his debut in the Champions League on September 29, 2010 in the home game against Werder Bremen , where he was in the starting line-up.

In December 2010, the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup was due, at which Inter Milan, as the UEFA Champions League winners, measured against Champions League winners from the other continental associations. In the 3-0 victory in the semifinals against AFC Champions League winner Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma , he was not substituted. In the final, however, he was substituted on for Diego Milito in the 70th minute and scored the 3-0 final score in the 85th minute against the African representative Tout Puissant Mazembe . Previously, Goran Pandev and Samuel Eto'o met .

At the end of January 2011, Biabiany moved to Sampdoria Genoa as part of a striker exchange together with around twelve million euros . Inter received Giampaolo Pazzini in return .

At Sampdoria Genua things were rather mixed for him. He came there to sixteen missions, but scored only one goal on the penultimate matchday in the 1-2 defeat against US Palermo . With Sampdoria Genoa he rose to Serie B at the end of the season.

Biabiany moved back to Serie A on loan for the 2011/12 season and was again hired by FC Parma . At Parma he was used in every league game and was able to achieve a total of six goals. In the summer of 2014, a move from Biabiany to AC Milan failed when the medical examination revealed a cardiac arrhythmia . Due to heart problems, Biabiany only played one game in the 2014/15 season. On April 11, 2015, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

For the season 2015/16 returned Biabiany back to Inter Milan.

In the national team

On October 9, 2009 he made his debut in the French U-21 national team against Malta . He played from the start, but was replaced in the 40th minute for Jirès Kembo Ekoko due to an injury . This was followed by three more qualifying games against Belgium , against Ukraine and his last U-21 game against Malta . On May 20, 2010 he scored his first ever goal in an international match in a friendly against the Argentine U-20 national team in a 3-3 draw.
