Massimo Volta (born May 14, 1987 in Desenzano ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Volta first played for Carpenedolo Berretti and AC Carpenedolo before moving to Sampdoria Genoa in 2007 . Volta was then awarded, first at Vicenza Calcio in the Serie B . The following year he played for AC Cesena . It was not until the 2010/11 season that he played a major role at Genoa. On the one hand, he played both UEFA Champions League qualifying games against SV Werder Bremen , in which Genoa were narrowly eliminated. Second, he played six times in the UEFA Europa League . He was relegated from Serie A with Genoa in the same season , but was able to go straight back to Serie A in the following season. For the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the Spanish first division club UD Levante .

After another loan from 2013 to 2015 to AC Cesena, he joined AC Perugia Calcio in summer 2015. His current contract is valid until June 30, 2019.
