Andrea Klikovac (born May 5, 1991 in Podgorica , Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin handball player .
Career
Klikovac started playing handball in her hometown at the age of nine. In the 2007/08 season she took part in the European Cup Winners' Cup with the women's team from ŽRK Petrol Bonus Podgorica . Between 2009 and 2011, the back court player was under contract with the Montenegrin first division club ŽRK Biseri , with whom she also took part in the European Cup. After Klikovac ran up in the 2011/12 season for the Macedonian first division club RK Žito Prilep , she joined the league rivals ŽRK Vardar SCBT . With Vardar she won the championship in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 as well as the Macedonian Cup in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. They also reached in the season 2013/14 , 2014/15 and 2015/16 Champions League, the Final Four . In the summer of 2018 she moved to the Hungarian first division club Kisvárdai KC . A season later she joined the Romanian club CSM Bucharest . With Bucharest she won the Romanian Cup in 2019.
Klikovac won the bronze medal at the 2010 U-20 World Cup . A year later she made her debut in the Montenegrin senior team . In December 2012, the left-hander took part in the European Championships with Montenegro and won the European Championship. A year later she was part of the Montenegrin squad at the World Cup . During the tournament she scored four goals. In 2014 she took part again in the European Championship. She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
