Andreas Dobberkau (* 1975 in Reinbek ) is a German actor .

Life

Dobberkau completed an acting training at the Hamburg drama school from 1997 to 2000 "Stage Studio of the Performing Arts" . After completing his acting training, he had his first theater engagements, initially in Hamburg. He played in the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus (2000, Die kleine Hexe ), in the Kulturzentrum Kampnagel and at the Altonaer Theater ; at the Altonaer Theater he appeared in 2002 as Ted Ragg in Arturo Ui's The Temporary Ascent and as a servile student Melworm in a stage version of the novel Die Feuerzangenbowle .

From 2002 to 2008 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater Vorpommern . There he played a wide repertoire , which included pieces from antiquity , by William Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe , the German-speaking authors of the classical period , but especially pieces from modern times and contemporary theater.

He embodied Pope Hadrian in the tragedy The tragic history of Doctor Faustus , Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream , the title role in Hamlet , the title role in Heinrich von Kleist's play The Prince of Homburg , Leonce in Leonce and Lena , and Ferdinand from Hierling in stories from the Vienna Woods and the Jacques Roux in Marat / Sade . He also played there in pieces by Sławomir Mrożek , Elfriede Jelinek and Anthony McCarten .

In 2009 he appeared at the Hamburger Kammerspiele in the German premiere of the play Frost / Nixon . In the 2009/10 season he took on the role of Doctor Finache in the comedy Flea in the Ear by Georges Feydeau at the Theater Vorpommern .

On television , Dobberkau mainly took on episode roles in various television series, including in Verliebt in Berlin , SOKO Wismar , Coast Guard and Da comes Kalle . He was also seen in supporting roles in some television films ( Die Gustloff ).
