Andreas Fötschl (born September 19, 1973 ) is a former Austrian soccer player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Fötschl joined the youth team of SV Austria Salzburg in 1990 via the BNZ Tirol . In January 1993 he moved to the second division ASVÖ FC Puch . In April 1993 he made his debut in the second division when he came on as a substitute on the 26th day of the 1992/93 season against SV Spittal / Drau in the half-time break for Johann Pinwinkler . With Puch he had to relegate to the third division in 1995.

For the 1998/99 season Fötschl moved to the second division SV Braunau . After a season he returned to the regional league team Puch. In 2000 he moved to PSV Salzburg . In 2002 he joined the ASK Salzburg . In 2003 he moved to the fifth class 1. FC Vöcklabruck . With the Vöcklabruckern he was able to march through to the Regionalliga Mitte . For the 2006/07 season Fötschl moved to the national division USK Anif . With Anif he was promoted to the regional league at the end of the season. Fötschl ended his career after the 2009/10 season. During his time as coach of the club, he was briefly in the squad of FC Bergheim in 2011 .

As a trainer

In 2010, Fötschl became the coach of the second team at USK Anif . In 2011 he became the coach of the fifth division club FC Bergheim . For the 2012/13 season he took over the coaching position at the national division USC Eugendorf . With Eugendorf he was promoted to the Regionalliga West at the end of the season.

After four years as coach of USC Eugendorf, Fötschl became the coach of league competitor SV Grödig for the 2016/17 season , where he should have taken over the second team.
