List of cultural monuments in Radibor

The list of cultural monuments in Radibor includes the cultural monuments of the Saxon community of Radibor , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until June 2017 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

Catholic Kreuzkirche (Lilienstraße / J.-L.-Zaleskistraße). Simple hall church standing in a cemetery. Core from the 14th century renewed in 1887/88, plastered building with retracted choir and 3/8 end, surrounded by buttresses, the west wall with a central pillar, gable roof with turret. The bright interior with a flat plastered ceiling with a simple valley, triumphal arch. Wooden gallery in the west.

    Alte kath. Parish church. Built in the 15th century, only the three-sided closed choir and sacristy, surrounded by buttresses, remained, the nave was demolished in 1896 after a new building at another location. Restoration 1995/96. Atmospheric interior, barrel vault with stitch caps, marked 1680, the beginnings of the stitch caps with angel heads. An example of a Gothic painting exposed on a window with a square frame and a consecration cross below the window. On the north side painting probably around 1680, rich drapery under a magnificent canopy and palm branches curved around a console. In between a Gothic tabernacle with filigree branches, inscribed 1519, with St. Barbara and Jakobus d. Ä. with stonemason's mark by Wolff Hrabisch (church in Göda, Kr. Bautzen). In the sacristy there is an incomplete reticulated vault, the double-grooved ribs painted, the rectangular keystones painted at the base of the vault. Items of equipment in the New Church.

    New Cath. Parish Church, Rosary Church. Mighty neo-Romanesque pillar basilica, built by Ernst Giese in 1895 . Quarry stone construction, the long nave with pilaster strips and arched friezes, saddle roof, retracted choir with apse and arched blind arches as well as extensions. The west side, planned as a two-tower facade, only has a solid north tower with a folding roof. Round-arched portal framed by columns with a flight of stairs, above in a niche Mary with Christ Child as Queen of Heaven on a crescent moon, triangular gable. Spacious interior, the central nave with an open, colored roof structure, the side aisles with flat wooden beam ceilings. The triumphal arch painted with tendrils and medallions with evangelists, in the calotte of the choir apse Christ in a mandorla and the evangelist symbols. In the west above the entrance hall there is a spacious gallery. Numerous pieces of equipment from the time the church was built, especially the elaborate altar ciborium and the two side altars. Several pieces of equipment from the old parish church: beautiful baroque annunciation group, wood, colored, end of the 17th century. Moving figures of Peter and Paul, wood, colored, around 1690. Anna Selbdritt, wood with remnants of a modern frame, around 1490. Presumably late Gothic figure of the Madonna and ten small apostles, wood, colored, with modern additions. Richly designed wooden baptism with a short foot and high cup, end of the 18th century, painted in color, the lid with putti heads in front of volute swings and a crowning group of figures depicting the baptism of Christ. Jehmlich organ from 1883, rebuilt by Eule in 1938.

    Evangelical Parish Church. Neo-Gothic hall church, early 14th century, rebuilt after a fire in 1550, expanded in 1616, extensive repair work in 1744, 1827 and 1838, new building in 1857 including older parts, interior renewed in 1890. Plastered building surrounded by buttresses with arched windows, drawn-in choir closed on three sides as well as extensions on the east and north sides, gable roof. Massive square west tower, the bell storey with beveled corners, angled helmet roof. Tower and west facade designed with pilaster strips and arched friezes. The interior with a flat plaster ceiling, offset by a narrow cornice. Single-storey, simply framed wooden galleries on three sides. On the north side of the choir boxes with arched and segmented arched windows as well as stained glass windows with the evangelists surrounded by vines, 2nd half of the 19th century, inscribed with “W. Franke ".
    Equipment: Magnificent, white and gold framed pulpit altar made of wood, marked 1686. In addition to the altar hall, large consoles decorated with tendrils with putti on which stand pedestals with columns. In between the pulpit, supported by an angel surrounded by rich tendrils, the pulpit basket with high relief depicting the Trinity, to the side of the pulpit strong festoons. Above the arched pulpit door with a shell a tendril frieze as well as a final cornice crooked above the columns and side slopes. Next to the columns Peter and Paul with richly draped robes. The gable of the altar with an oval panel with the Nativity, framed by rich tendrils. On the side, above the pillars, two angels with palm branches. On the final round gable a crucifix and two putti. White and gold framed wooden pulpit, 18th century, the cupa resting on a column, painted with leaf tendrils, the lid with a large stylized flower. Schuster organ from 1950. Large sandstone epitaph for Johann von Ponickau († 1721), a large inscription cartouche with tendrils above a base with a coat of arms, two female wooden figures, Ecclesia and Fortitudo, on lateral pedestals. On the final segment gable is a moving Chronos figure and two mourning putti.
    On the outer walls there is a sandstone tomb of Katharina von Schreibersdorf († 1604), a relief of a praying woman with a hood and a cloak. Monument to Joseph von Gersdorf (?, † 1608), full-length relief of a knight. Monument to Heinrich von Gersdorf († 1628), knight in full armor with a field bandage. Monument to Melchior von Löben († 1617), in front of an indicated niche with tendrils knight in splendid armor with a field bandage, coat of arms on the side, semicircular attachment with inscription.
