1st half of the 19th century Upper floor half-timbered, of architectural and socio-historical importance, very endangered, GDR district monument list number 51, of architectural importance. Half-timbered houses shape the landscape of Upper Lusatia. This property is one of the few buildings from the 17th century with a meaningful original substance that has been preserved, because of its unique construction (an arbor resting on wooden pillars characterizes the house), the house is an excellent example of folk architecture in Upper Lusatia. Located on an originally preserved narrow street in the immediate vicinity of the Dorfbach and with other historically grown building stock in the floodplain area, the house forms an impressive ensemble, a photo from 1910 is evidence that the "Royal Saxon Legitimation Certificate Issue Office" was located here. During the GDR era, the building was shabby and has not been used for residential purposes since the 1980s. On the basis of the SächsDSchG 1993 there was a reassessment of the monuments and in this context also the protection of this house (from: "For the 2nd topping-out ceremony of the Vorlaubenhaus in Cunewalde, Hauptstrasse 206 on November 28th, 1997" by Arnd Matthes). 09225148
