List of cultural monuments in Rammenau

The list of cultural monuments in Rammenau contains the cultural monuments of the Saxon community of Rammenau , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until June 2017 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

This list is a partial list of the list of cultural monuments in the Bautzen district .

History: around 1723–1747 construction of the palace under Ernst Ferdinand von Knoch (1677–1745) and Franz Joseph von Hoffmann (died 1749); after 1747 construction of a baroque pleasure garden south of the palace under Johann Albericus von Hoffmannsegg (1717–1780), from 1752 construction of the enclosure wall of the pleasure garden verifiable; 1820/1821 demolition of the old pleasure garden wall; 1825–1835 Redesign of the baroque pleasure garden into an English landscape garden under Johann Centurius von Hoffmannsegg (1766–1849).

  • Residential house: on a rectangular floor plan, in the massive stable part on the ground floor a Bohemian cap vault, in the block room painted wood paneling, high, pointed roof, slate roofing, cubature and proportions largely preserved in their original form, vaulted grooves preserved on the gable

Marked 1736 (church); 1st third of the 19th century (tomb) Structurally and locally of importance. Small hall church, built 1736–49. Restorations in 1879, 1986–88. Plastered quarry stone building with a straight choir closure and a small rectangular sacristy building in the east from 1836, hipped roof with eight-sided slated roof turret with hood. The inside covered flat. One-storey wooden galleries on the long sides on widely spaced pillars, original painting with acanthus tendrils. Plain, white wooden pulpit altar, 2nd half of the 18th century, the round arched opening with a round pulpit framed by Corinthian columns, above cranked entablature a curved gable with a large radiant halo. 19th century Of local history of importance; Location of the birth house of Fichte's grandfather Martin Fichte, which burned down in 1840 due to a lightning strike. The property was acquired by Countess Fanny Luise Johanna von Warnery, wife of Count Johann Centurius von Hoffmannsegg , and donated to the school community in 1842 after the ruins of the fire had been removed. The proceeds from the cultivation of this meadow were used "to buy useful clothing for poor school children". 09276294

  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
