Remarks
- This list is not suitable for deriving binding statements on the monument status of an object. As far as a legally binding determination of the listed property of an object is desired, the owner can apply to the responsible lower monument protection authority for a notice.
- The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
- The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
- Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).

↑ Castle in its current layout from the 16th century, partially burned down in 1729, restored by 1732. Adam Friedrich Graf von Flemming laid out a large pleasure garden at this time (large canal, pheasantry, system of individual path axes and star places, garden portals, plastic), this generous part of the system comes from the time of August the Strong. Other part of the park with winding paths, lawn embankment along the canal banks from the 2nd half of the 18th century, increased effect through the use of nature based on the beginning of the English gardening movement. As early as 1804, von Hasse praised the happy union of French and English tastes. Plant is one of the most outstanding creations of Saxon garden art. Included in fencing: wrought iron fence bars and gates with wrought iron bars and cup attachments. Sandstone path stone. Weir (Hermsdorf Castle Weir): Raid weir with two fields, above it a service walkway, underwater side retaining walls, weir ID 1024 in the weir database of the Saxon rivers (SMUL), river kilometers 64.44 km, weir height 1.6 m, weir width 16 m, with a weir attachment in the form of gates (operated by means of racks), protective system made of concrete with a central gate (operated by means of racks) at the inlet of the Mühlgraben (on the left bank of the river) to regulate the flow of water, Mühlgraben was formerly used to generate hydropower (mill operation ceased in 1948), today it is fed from the sewer and moat.
Description of the garden monument (Sabine Webersinke, May 2011): Palace complex with a former farmyard and a garden center that is still in use. -
^ Dehio - Handbook of German Art Monuments / Saxony Volume 1:

Plastered quarry stone building with a slightly drawn-in, just closed choir. Uniform gable roof over the hall and choir since 1929, supported by corner pillars in front of the choir. Massive roof turret with octagonal hood and lantern. Inside, flat covered, partly with vegetable renaissance painting (exposed in 1976). New wooden bin in the choir. On the north wall a Romanesque window frame at the level of the gallery. One-storey gallery demolished in 1992 and reconstructed with parts of the old parapet in 1994. Simple wooden altar wall with a curved front, as an altarpiece painting Christ on the Mount of Olives, marked 1743, above it an organ gallery. Under the gallery the sacristy with entrances to the left and right of the altarpiece. Wooden pulpit, probably 17th century. Two panels from an older winged altar still survive, the hll. Apollonia and Ursula, by Pancratius Grueber from Großenhain, around 1530 (now in the rectory). Kohl organ, around 1865, slightly changed.
