Plain hall church of the late classicism with a small transept in the east, retracted choir and 5/8 end, 1861, the tower probably 1650. Restorations in 1947 and 1990. Plastered quarry stone building, the exterior structured by pilaster strips and blind arch friezes. Square west tower with an octagonal, half-timbered bell storey, ending with a flat hood and lantern. Stair towers on both sides of the tower. The classicist interior has largely been preserved in its original form, with flat ceilings, two-storey wooden galleries on the long sides, one-storey organ gallery on the west wall, restrained, balanced spatial effect. Striking are the cross arms, which are open to the choir on three floors through arched box windows, including a crypt on each side. The wooden altar, its essay in the type of a niche retable with the resurrection of Christ as an altarpiece. Chalice-shaped baptismal font with a top made of brass, 1664. On the north east wall in front of the choir, the elaborately worked grave stone of Pastor Immanuel Gottfried Mönchmayer († 1754), sandstone. Opposite the gravestone of Pastor M. Adam Grund, († 1742), sandstone. Large organ by Jahn, 1864, renewed by Schuster in 1946. Small choir organ (probably by Jahn, around 1860). |
