Andreas Malin (born January 31, 1994 ) is a Liechtenstein - Austrian football player .

Career

Malin started his career at SC Göfis . In 2008 he came to AKA Vorarlberg , where he last played in June 2012. For the 2012/13 season he moved to regional league club FC Dornbirn 1913 . In July 2012 he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against TSV St. Johann on the first day of that season and was replaced by Marco Düngler in the 26th minute. At the end of the season he had 22 regional league appearances for Dornbirn.

For the 2013/14 season he moved to the league competitor Black and White Bregenz . For Bregenz, he made 23 appearances in the Regionalliga West that season, in which, as in the previous season, he had no hits. For the 2014/15 season Malin moved to Liechtenstein to the Swiss first league playing USV Eschen-Mauren . He played his first game for Eschen-Mauren in August 2014 against FC Mendrisio-Stabio . In May 2015, he scored his first goal in the fourth-highest Swiss league in an 8-0 win against AC Taverne .

After two years in Liechtenstein, he returned to Dornbirn for the 2016/17 season. In August 2016, he finally scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in a 1-1 draw against SC Schwaz . With Dornbirn he rose to the 2nd division in 2019 .

National team

Malin made his debut against Croatia in August 2013 for the Liechtenstein U-21 team . He played a total of 17 games for the Liechtenstein U-21 team between 2013 and 2016.

In June 2015 he was against Moldova for the first time in the squad of the national team . He finally made his senior national team debut in June 2016 when he came on for Seyhan Yildiz in the 80th minute of a friendly against Iceland .
