Lucas Bundschuh (born April 9, 1996 in Kennelbach ) is an Austrian soccer goalkeeper .
Career
society
Bundschuh began his career at FC Kennelbach . For the 2009/10 season he came to AKA Vorarlberg . For the 2012/13 season he moved to Germany to the B-Juniors of SC Freiburg . In that season he played 21 games for the Freiburg U-17 team in the B-Junior Bundesliga . For the 2013/14 season he moved to the A-Juniors squad, for which he played 18 games in the A-Juniors Bundesliga between 2013 and 2015 .
In December 2014 he was against the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the first time in the squad of the second team of Freiburg. For the 2015/16 season he became a permanent part of the regional league team. In that season he had to relegate to the top division with Freiburg II . However, Bundschuh was not used that season. After relegation, he left Freiburg.
After several months without a club, he returned to Austria in February 2017 and switched to the second division club WSG Wattens . At Wattens, however, he was only used for the amateurs in the Tyrolean League .
For the 2017/18 season he moved back to Germany, where he joined the regional league club FC Memmingen . In Memmingen, however, he only came to four missions for the second team in the sixth highest division. He then moved to the fifth-class 1. FC Sonthofen in January 2018 . In a year and a half at Sonthofen, he made 35 appearances in the Bavarian League .
He returned to Austria for the 2019/20 season and moved to the second division club FC Dornbirn 1913 . He made his debut in the second division in July 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on the first matchday of that season .
National team
Bundschuh played against Slovenia for the first time for the Austrian U-17 team in August 2011 . With this he also took part in the 2013 World Cup, where he was eliminated with Austria as the last of Group E in the preliminary round. During the tournament he was not used.
