Egzon Shabani (born November 26, 1991 in Kumanovo ) is a North Macedonian football player .

Career

Shabani started his career at FC Appenzell . For the 2011/12 season he moved to fifth-rate FC Altstätten . In two seasons for Altstätten, he played 48 games in the 2nd interregional league and scored eleven goals. For the 2013/14 season he moved to the third division club SC Brühl St. Gallen . He made his debut in the Promotion League in August 2013, when he was in the starting line-up against the U-21 team of FC Basel on the first day of that season . In the game that Basel won 3-1, Shabani also scored his first goal in the third-highest Swiss division.

In his first season with Brühl he played 28 games in which he scored eight goals. In the 2014/15 season he played just as many games and also scored eight goals. In the 2015/16 season he came again to 28 missions, but this time scored eleven goals.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to league rivals FC Rapperswil-Jona . That season he came to 23 appearances in which he scored three goals. At the end of the season he rose with Rapperswil as champion of the Promotion League in the Challenge League . He made his debut in this in July 2017, when he was in the starting line-up against FC Schaffhausen on the first matchday of the 2017/18 season. In September 2017 he scored his first goal in the second-highest Swiss league in a 5-0 win against Schaffhausen. After two years in the Challenge League, he had to relegate with Rapperswil in the 2018/19 season as bottom of the table.

He then moved to the Austrian second division club FC Dornbirn 1913 for the 2019/20 season .
