Aaron Kircher (born October 18, 1991 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Kircher started his career at SCR Altach . In 2005 he came to AKA Vorarlberg , where he went through all ages and played until 2010. For the 2010/11 season he moved to the second division club SC Austria Lustenau . In July 2010, he made his debut in the second division when he was in the starting line-up against SV Grödig on the first day of that season . By the end of the season he made six league appearances. In May 2011 he tore a cruciate ligament and missed the final of the ÖFB Cup , for which the second division had qualified. Lustenau lost the final against SV Ried in Kircher's absence .

Due to his injury, he also missed a large part of the following season and was only used for the professionals in the second division. For the 2012/13 season he moved to league rivals and to his youth club SCR Altach. In October 2012 he tore a cruciate ligament again during his second and last assignment for Altach. In July 2013 he made his comeback with the amateurs, but there was no longer any use for the professionals.

In January 2014, Kircher switched to league rivals First Vienna FC . For the Viennese he came to ten missions by the end of the 2013/14 season. With Vienna, however, he had to relegate to the regional league as bottom of the table . He then moved back to Vorarlberg for the 2014/15 season for regional league club FC Dornbirn 1913 . For the 2017/18 season he became the captain of Dornbirn. In the 2018/19 season he rose with the club as champion of the Regionalliga West in the 2nd division.

His brother Elias (* 1990) is also a soccer player.
