Lukas Katnik (born July 31, 1989 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker .
Career
Lukas Katnik started playing football at FC Mäder in his home village. In 2004 he moved to FC Koblach before he was signed by the Erste Liga club FC Lustenau in 2006 . On April 20, 2007 he made his professional debut for the Lustenauer when he came on in the game against DSV Leoben in the 64th minute for Marc Ender . He scored his first professional goal on July 17, 2009 against the Austria Wien amateurs . For the 2010/11 season he moved to FC Dornbirn in the Regionalliga West . At the Dornbirn team, he immediately became a goal getter and scored 10 goals in the fall. In January 2011 he moved to Salzburg to join the Red Bull Juniors , but was immediately awarded to USK Anif to help them advance to the first division. After missing the promotion with the Anifers, he returned to the Juniors. But again it was awarded to a cooperation club, the FC Pasching . After the loan ended, he moved to SV Austria Salzburg . With the Salzburg team, he was promoted to professional football in 2015.
After Salzburg's relegation to the regional league, he moved to second division WSG Wattens in summer 2016 . With WSG Wattens, he rose to the Bundesliga as a second division champion in 2019 , after which the club was renamed WSG Tirol. For the WSG he made 88 appearances in the 2nd division and two in the Bundesliga. In January 2020 he switched to the second division club SC Austria Lustenau , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. For Lustenau he came to ten second division appearances, in which he scored two goals.
For the 2020/21 season he returned to league competitor Dornbirn, with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.
