Andreas from Everdingen
Master Andreas von Everdingen († before 1412) was the sixth master builder at Cologne Cathedral .
Around 1395 he succeeded Master Michael . During the coup in 1396 , Andreas was on the side of the guilds. In 1398 he was mentioned as Andres Meister in the Tum . In 1412 he appears as a (late) foreman in the Doyme zo Coelne. He built the second floor of the south tower, on which the cathedral crane was to become a landmark of the city of Cologne for centuries. He was married to an aleid. His successor was Nikolaus van Bueren (1380-1445) from 1425 .
