Andrew James Whitworth (* 12. December 1981 in Monroe , Louisiana ) is an American American football poker players on the position of offensive tackle . He plays for the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Whitworth attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and played college football for their team, the Tigers, with great success , for which he was repeatedly awarded and appointed to various selection teams. With 52 games, he is not only the record holder at LSU, but has also played the second-most games in NCAA Division I at all.

NFL

Cincinnati Bengals

In the NFL Draft 2006 he was selected in the 2nd round as a total of 55th player by the Cincinnati Bengals . Already in his rookie year he played in all games, first in the special teams , then also as left guard , and was soon a starter . In 2010 he was converted to a left tackle and is performing even better in his new position. In 2012 and 2015 he was appointed to the Pro Bowl .

Los Angeles Rams

In 2017 he was signed by the Los Angeles Rams . Here, too, he performed well and was elected to the Pro Bowl again in 2017.
