Andrzej Lesiak (born May 21, 1966 in Nowogród Bobrzański ) is a former Polish football player and current coach .

Career

Lesiak began his career as a professional footballer in 1985 with the Polish club GKS Katowice . Lesiak received several offers from Austria , which he followed in 1992 when he signed with Wacker Innsbruck . After two years in the meantime as FC Tirol outsourced Innsbruckern he transferred from Austria to Germany for that time in the Bundesliga playing Dynamo Dresden , in which he scored two goals in 30 games. At the end of the season, Lesiak only came 18th with the Dresden team and decided to change clubs again. His trip took him again to Austria. This time to Upper Austria to SV Ried where he was under contract in the 1995/96 season. At the end of the season, he decided to change clubs again. In the 1996/97 season he played for SK Rapid Vienna , where he scored a total of five goals in 31 league, six European Cup and one cup game , before changing clubs again. At this point, Lesiak made his way to Salzburg for SV Austria Salzburg , where he was only under contract for one season (1997/98). At the end of the season he changed clubs again and came back to SV Ried, where he had already accrued four years earlier. Lesiak remained loyal to the sports association for three years, from 1999 to 2001, when another club lured with its qualities. This time he transferred within Upper Austria from Riedern to Pasching to the local sports club . After only one season again (2001/02), he moved for the third time in his career to SV Ried, which was to be his last position as an active player. With the end of the 2002/03 season, Lesiak also discontinued his football career.

Coaching stations

When Lesiak ended his active football career after the 2002/03 season, he decided to work as a coach at SV Ried. After two years as coach of the sports association, he decided to train another team. So in 2004 he took up the position of coach of SC Schwanenstadt . After another two years, the team he was supervising changed again to accept a vacancy as a coach at SV Hartberg . From 2006 to 2008 he coached the Hartberger when he was offered a position as coach of 1. FC Vöcklabruck at the beginning of 2008 , which he immediately accepted. In early 2009 he was replaced by Dejan Stanković . On June 17, 2009 it was announced that he was coaching the Polish club Zagłębie Lubin . Lesiak left Zagłębie after one season and was coach for one season at Union Gurten .
