Andrzej Wojciech Suski (born December 24, 1941 in Płock , Masovian Voivodeship , Poland ) is a Polish clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Toruń .

Life

Auxiliary Bishop Piotr Dudziec consecrated him on June 13, 1965 as a priest of the diocese of Płock .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on August 12, 1986 titular bishop of Pulcheriopolis and auxiliary bishop in Płock. The Polish primate , Józef Cardinal Glemp , gave him episcopal ordination on October 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Zygmunt Kamiński , coadjutor bishop of Płock, and Juliusz Paetz , bishop of Łomża . His motto is Spes Mea Unica .

On March 25, 1992 John Paul II appointed him first bishop of the diocese of Toruń, which was established on the same date .

On November 11, 2017, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
