Andrzej Zglejszewski
Andrzej Jerzy Zglejszewski (born December 18, 1961 in Białystok , Poland ) is auxiliary bishop in Rockville Center .
Life
Andrzej Zglejszewski initially studied in Poland, later at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington near New York. He received the sacrament of ordination on May 26, 1990 through the Bishop of Rockville Center, John Raymond McGann . He completed further theological studies at the Catholic University of America and Fordham University . After pastoral care he worked in the ordinariate and as a professor at the seminary.
On 11 February 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Nicives and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Rockville Center. The Bishop of Rockville Center, William Francis Murphy , donated to him on March 25 of that year, the episcopal ordination . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Charleston , Robert Guglielmone , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Center, Robert John Brennan .
Andrzej Zglejszewski is involved in numerous social projects and the Christians in the Holy Land . 2015 he was appointed by Cardinal Grand Master Edwin Frederick Cardinal O'Brien to Grand Officer of the Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem appointed and in the October 31, 2015 St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York by Timothy Cardinal Dolan , Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy Eastern USA invested, .
