Robert John Brennan (born June 7, 1962 in New York City , USA ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Columbus .

Life

Robert John Brennan received on 27 May in 1989 by the Bishop of Rockville Center, John Raymond McGann , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 8, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Erdonia and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Rockville Center. The Bishop of Rockville Center, William Francis Murphy , donated to him on 25 July of the same year, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Philadelphia , Charles Joseph Chaput, OFMCap , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Center, Paul Henry Walsh .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Columbus on January 31, 2019. The inauguration took place on March 29 of the same year.
