Angela Kinsey
Angela Faye Kinsey (born June 25, 1971 in Lafayette , Louisiana ) is an American actress .
Life
Angela Kinsey was born in Lafayette , Louisiana . The family moved to Jakarta , Indonesia in 1973 , where their father found work as an engineer. She spent twelve years there before the family moved to Archer City , Texas . During this time she attended the Jakarta Intercultural School and learned the Indonesian language, which she has mastered to this day. She studied English at Baylor University and eventually found work as an intern on Late Night with Conan O'Brien , where she was assistant to drummer Max Weinberg .
She then moved to Los Angeles , where she studied improvisation with The Groundlings and iO West . She worked as a call agent for the 1-800 Dentist hotline and found occasional work as an actress, including in an episode of the sitcom A Strong Family and as a voice actress for a minor role in the cartoon King of the Hill . However, she only had her major national and international breakthrough in 2005 with the television series Das Büro . She originally auditioned for the role of Pam Beesly, which was later cast by Jenna Fischer before she was hired for the role of accountant Angela Martin. From 2016 to 2017 she starred as Bethany in the series Haters Back Off .
Kinsey married the television writer Warren Lieberstein , who wrote several episodes for Das Büro and is the brother of Paul Lieberstein , who played the role of Toby Flenderson on the same series. The couple had a daughter on May 3, 2008. After they separated in February 2009, they divorced in 2010.
