The Angeligasse located in the 10th Vienna district, favorites . It was named after the painter Heinrich von Angeli in 1894 .
Location and characteristics
Angeligasse runs in an east-west direction from Friedrich-Knauer -Gasse to Triester Straße . It is interrupted twice by large residential complexes and is a one-way route in sections in opposite directions. Angeligasse touches a green area on Paltramplatz and an allotment garden on Friesenplatz , otherwise it is lined with residential buildings that date from the end of the 19th century to the present. There is no public transport in Angeligasse.
Remarkable
No. 15–17c: Sgraffiti animals and plants of the Laaer Berg
On this residential complex from the post-war period there are two sgraffitos by Ernst Erich Müller from 1955 with the title Animals and Plants of the Laaer Berg , which are under monument protection .
No. 18-18b: Relief Wandering Youth
A majolica relief by Hertha Bucher from 1955 entitled Wandering Youth can be seen on the facade of this residential complex, which is a listed building.
No. 21: Sokol gymnastics club
At this point the course of the Angeligasse is interrupted. The club house of the Czech gymnastics club Sokol is located there .
No. 33–35: District Court
The district court of Favoriten was built in 1912-1914. It is a monumental, functional building in post-historic-baroque-classicist forms that takes up the entire block. The Baroque aedicula portal has a double-headed eagle relief. The interior is restrained Heimatstil designed forms.
No. 78–80: Urban residential complex
The municipal residential complex was built in 1929 according to plans by Leopold Simony on the corner of Neilreichgasse . The street corner is open as a courtyard, around which the construction takes place. The side fronts are designed with a curved roof and a cubic corner structure, while loggias serve to structure. The facility is a listed building.

On the house there is a mosaic depicting animals from 1963, which is marked with the initials HP.

No. 104: Residential complex
On Angeligasse, which is only accessible by a footpath at this point, is the rear of a large residential complex designed by the architect Harry Glück from 1971, which has a stepped pyramid construction. In front of it lies the sculpture of a male nude torso (unmarked).
