The place
The original development extended around the church and along the former railway line from Ljungby to Halmstad . Many of the houses were built at the end of the 18th century. Because of this still preserved development, Angelstad has retained its flair. It is therefore also a popular tourist destination. Today there are six rental houses, 19 semi-detached or terraced houses and various single-family houses in the village. The parishes of Hölminge, Bolmstad and Näglinge belong to the parish (församlingen). There are also many leisure houses here.
