Ryssby is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of County of Kronoberg and the historical province of Småland .
Ryssby is located about 10 km east of Ljungby on the national road 25 towards Växjö in the municipality of Ljungby . Most of them find work in Ljungby, Alvesta and Vislanda . The jobs in Ryssby are mainly in the areas of training and care.
In the village is the Ryssbygymnasiet , a school with educational offers on the topics of hunting, forest, tourism, hotel and restaurant business. In summer it serves as a youth hostel .
The original town center is around the train station and the hotel.
