Ania Rudy (* 1968 in Wroclaw , Poland ) is a Polish actress and singer .

Life

Rudy was born as Anna Maria Magdalena Małgorzata Dąbrowska in 1968 in Wrocław.

When she was 13, she took acting classes in Poland, using the Lee Strasberg method . She starred in several Polish films, her first film being "White Dragon".

After she was named Miss Poland , she continued her acting classes at Actors Studios in New York City . By fulfilling a lucrative modeling contract in France , she financed her drama training in New York.

After her stay in the USA, Ania Rudy went back to Poland in 1988, married professional soccer player Andrzej Rudy , gave birth to a son there and devoted herself more to family life. Rudy then pushed her artistic career in Germany and played in many well-known film and cinema productions. Parallel to her acting, she appeared in various TV shows such as the Harald Schmidt Show , B. meets… , Gottschalk , Peep! etc. on. Ania Rudy also demonstrated her talent for comedy in formats such as “ Koschwitz ” or Die Wochenshow on Sat.1 . After this time there was a five-year break. In November 1997, Ania Rudy graced the front page of German Playboy .

Her first solo single "Broken English" hit the airplay charts . This was followed by the first German-language title “I give you this day”.

Ania Rudy celebrated her first musical successes in the musical Loreley , in which she participated as a singer and protagonist. Furthermore, she worked in various music productions, such as B. as a duet partner with Pierre Brice . This composition later resulted in the CDs “Emotions” and “Broken English”.
