Anja Pahl

Anja Pahl (* 1975 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Anja Pahl grew up in East Berlin and was a member of the FDJ for a short time . From 1998 to 2002 she studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig and made her debut in 2000 at the Leipzig Theater , of which she was a member until 2002. She then moved to the Neue Theater Halle and played there until 2007. Since then she has been working as a freelancer, she had a one-year engagement at the Braunschweig State Theater in the 2008/09 season , after which Pahl returned to her hometown and performed at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm until 2014 . Another engagement led her to the Theater am Potsdamer Platz from 2014 to 2016 .

Pahl was Gertrud Stauffacher in Schiller's Drama Wilhelm Tell , Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare , BeLine in Molière's smug sick , Marie Beaumarchais in Clavigo of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe . In Carlo Goldoni's comedy Mirandolina she played the title role in the play Zille of Horst Pillau she played Claire Waldoff . Well-known directors with whom Pahl worked were Johanna Schall , Peter Sodann , Frieder Venus and Wolfgang Engel .

Anja Pahl's theatrical activity focuses on the theater. In the past, trips in front of the camera were the exception in the career of the Berlin-based artist.
