Anke Erdmann
Anke Erdmann (born May 30, 1972 in Brake ) is a German education politician . From 2017 to 2019 she was State Secretary in the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitization of the State of Schleswig-Holstein in the Günther cabinet . Before that she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party . As a direct candidate in the Kiel-West state electoral district , she was fifth in 2009 and seventh in 2012 on the state list .
Life
Anke Erdmann was born in Brake in the Wesermarsch in Lower Saxony and went to school there. After graduating from school, she studied economics in Göttingen and received her diploma in 1998 . From 1998 to 2000 she worked as a research assistant for Klaus Müller, member of the Bundestag . She then worked in the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture in Kiel until 2009, among other things as head of the ministerial office and in the area of EU subsidies. Between 2005 and 2007 she took care of her son.
Anke Erdmann showed political commitment from a young age, was active in the student council, in an environmental group, against the Gulf War and in university politics. She has been a member of the Greens in Schleswig-Holstein since 1994 . From 2005 to 2007 she was a member of the state executive committee. Then she was a civic member of the school committee of the city of Kiel, in 2008 she became school policy spokeswoman and deputy chairman of the Greens in the Kiel council.
With the early state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2009 , she moved into the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament , where she was deputy parliamentary group leader and educational spokesperson for the green parliamentary group. For the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein 2012 on May 6th, Anke Erdmann ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Kiel-West and in seventh place on the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. During this electoral term, Erdmann was chairman of the education committee. Since 2017 she has been State Secretary in the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitization of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. On March 26, 2019, she resigned from office for health reasons. Dorit Kuhnt became his successor .
Erdmann lives with her husband, the SPD politician and current Lord Mayor of Kiel, Ulf Kämper , and their son in Kiel-Hassee .
