Pfirschbach is a district of the community Hochst in southern Hesse Odenwaldkreis .
geography
Pfirschbach is located southwest of Hoechst in the northwestern Odenwald in the valley of the Pfirschbach.
history
The village was first mentioned in 1314. The place name at that time was Phirdisbache . Pfirschbach belonged to the Breuberg estate until 1806 . The place had a total of 142 inhabitants in 1939 and belonged to what was then the district of Erbach. On December 31, 1971, the place was incorporated into the municipality of Höchst in the Odenwald as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
