Dusenbach is a district of the municipality of Höchst in the Odenwald in the Odenwaldkreis , Hesse .

Dusenbach is located on the eastern outskirts of Höchst in the northern Odenwald . Höchst and Dusenbach are separated from each other by federal highway 426 .

The village was first mentioned in 1305. The place name at that time was Düsmbach . Dusenbach belonged to the Breuberg rule until 1806 .

The place had a total of 41 inhabitants in 1939 and belonged to what was then the district of Erbach .

On December 31, 1971, the place was incorporated into the municipality of Höchst in the Odenwald.
