Ann Grete Nørgaard (born September 15, 1983 in Viborg , Denmark ) is a Danish handball player .

Career

Nørgaard started playing handball at Søndermarken IK in 1992 and moved to Viborg HK in 1996 . In the 2004/05 season, the outside player was loaned to the then second division Skive fH . After Nørgaard returned to Viborg in summer 2005, she was loaned to Skive again in November 2005. In the summer of 2006 she moved to the Danish first division club Randers HK . At the beginning of the 2008/09 season her contractual relationship was dissolved after disputes with Randers HK.

After Nørgaard was unable to find a new club due to the economic crisis, she joined the amateur team of Viborg HK, which played in the third division. After the injury-related loss of Gitte Aaen , she was taken back to the first division squad in March 2009, with whose team she won the championship in 2009. In the summer of 2009 she signed a contract with Horsens HK . After a season in Horsens, she moved to Team Tvis Holstebro . She won the EHF Cup with Holstebro in 2013 and 2015 . In the summer of 2015 she returned to Viborg HK. For the 2019/20 season she moved to the Romanian first division club SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea .

Nørgaard has so far played 139 international matches for the Danish women's handball team , in which they scored 549 goals. She won the bronze medal at the 2013 World Cup and scored 24 goals in eight games. She also took part with Denmark in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London .
