Anna Bornhoff (born November 17, 1981 in Hamm ) is a former German soccer player . The striker last played for Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam .

Career

Bornhoff began her career at SG Sendenhorst. After the D-Jugend , she switched to the girls' team at SC Germania Stromberg. From the U-13 to the U-19, she played in the Westphalia team. After graduating from high school, she moved to Bayreuth to study and played first for SpVgg Bayreuth and later for the national league club FC Eintracht Münchberg.

In 2005 Bornhoff moved to the then second division club TSV Crailsheim . The contact was made by Norbert Düwel , coach of the German national team of students. Bornhoff fought for a regular place in Crailsheim and was promoted to the Bundesliga in the first season. With eleven goals, she was the most successful goalscorer in her team.

After completing her studies in 2007, she changed her career to Berlin . Since she wanted to cut back on her job, she planned to switch to a second division team. Tennis Borussia Berlin and promoted 1. FC Union Berlin made their offers. Nevertheless, after an intensive conversation with Bernd Schröder , she joined the first division club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam .

In August 2007 she went to the Universiade in Bangkok with the national student team . Due to the high workload, she terminated her contract on December 31, 2007.

Private

Anna Bornhoff completed her Abitur at a private high school in Wadersloh . She then studied sports economics in Bayreuth as well as the subjects of sports and music for teaching . In the summer of 2007 she became the management assistant in the organizing committee for the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin.
