Anna Rogler-Kammerer (born July 25, 1943 in Kiens , Italy ) is an Austrian visual artist .

Live and act

Anna Rogler-Kammerer attended the elementary school in Chienes, the middle school in Bozen and the commercial school in Brixen at the "Institute of the English Misses ". Istituto tecnico femminile, Bolzano. She graduated from the private school "Sacro Cuore" in Brescia . This was followed by studies at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan , and later she passed the entrance examination at the University of Venice . She took part in the Summer Academy for Painting at the Hohensalzburg Fortress with Max Peiffer Watenphul and the Summer Academy for Painting with Rudolf Szyszkowitz in Salzburg. She attended the master class for painting with Franz Rogler , whom she later married. She completed her studies at the University of Graz and graduated with a diploma in interpreting . She is a master of philosophy.

Rogler-Kammerer taught for three years at the German-speaking secondary school in St. Johann im Ahrntal , and for another three years at the secondary school in Bruneck . She also taught Italian at the Urania Graz for adults, later she gave painting and drawing classes at the Urania Graz for adult education. She gave courses in painting in Grado and also works as a translator of the Italian language.

She was married to Franz Rogler († 1994) since 1970 and has one daughter.

Anna Rogler-Kammerer's work as a visual artist includes graphics, watercolor and oil painting as well as glass painting . Purchases of her works were made for the Albertina in Vienna by Walter Koschatzky (1977). She created, among other things, illustrations for books and magazines, and drawings for King Mohammed VI. from Morocco, illustrations for Johannes Koren “Tales of a City” and illustrations for “musikabendeGRAZ”. Her work also includes commissioned postage stamps for the Austrian Post .
