Anna Schuster
Anna Schuster , b. Kurz, (* July 20, 1872 ; † May 9, 1939 ) was a nativity scene carver and local poet .
She was a nativity scene carver known far beyond the region of her home town of Berchtesgaden , who learned the craft from her father Josef Kurz ( "Kusei" ). One of her nativity scenes is in the Bavarian National Museum . In 2004, numerous exhibits by Anna Schuster and her father were exhibited again as part of a special show on Christmas cribs in the Berchtesgadener Heimatmuseum Schloss Adelsheim .
In a supplement to the Berchtesgadener Anzeiger , her dialect poems were also repeatedly printed, and a volume of poems by Anna Schuster is also available. After her death, one of her stories was published in sequels for years.
