Anna Sergejewna Sedoikina ( Russian Анна Сергеевна Седойкина ; English spelling Anna Sedoykina ; born August 1, 1984 in Volgograd ) is a Russian handball player .

Career

Anna Sedoikina initially played for GK Dynamo Volgograd . With Dynamo Volgograd she won the EHF Cup in 2008 and the Russian championship in 2001, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. They also participated in the 2014/15 season at the Final Four of the EHF Champions League in part. In the summer of 2015, the goalkeeper moved to GK Rostov-on-Don . With Rostov she won the EHF Cup in 2017 and the Russian championship in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. She has been under contract with league rivals PGK CSKA Moscow since the 2020/21 season .

Sedoikina runs for the Russian national team . With Russia she won the World Cup in China in 2009 and the bronze medal at the European Championships in Macedonia in 2008 . She took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . She won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships . At the 2019 World Cup , she won the bronze medal with the Russian selection.
