Anne Buijs (born December 2, 1991 in Oostzaan ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Anne Buijs is the daughter of volleyball coach Teun Buijs . Until 2007 she played for VV Zaanstad under the guidance of her father. She then moved to Martinus Amstelveen . With the club, which merged to TVC Amstelveen in 2009, she won the Dutch championship and cup double three times in a row. In the 2010/11 season she managed the same success with Asterix Kieldrecht in Belgium, where she was the only foreigner on the field in the cup final against Gent. From 2011 to 2013, the national player played for the German Bundesliga club Schweriner SC , where her father was also a coach. In 2012 and 2013 Buijs became German champions with Schwerin and won the DVV Cup . Then she moved to the top Italian club Yamamay Busto Arsizio . After a year in Italy, he moved to Azerbaijan to Lokomotiv Baku . In 2015 Buijs went to Turkey to Vakıfbank Güneş Sigorta İstanbul and won the national championship here in 2016. She then moved to Brazil to Rexona-Sesc Rio de Janeiro .

With the Dutch national team , Buijs became vice European champion in her own country in 2015 and finished fourth at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
