Oostzaan ( listen ? / I ) is a village and a municipality in the Dutch province of North Holland , between Amsterdam and Zaandam . The community has 9,758 inhabitants (as of January 31, 2019) with an area of ​​16.08 km², of which 4.55 km² is water. This corresponds to a population density of 604 inhabitants per km².
