Anne Queffélec (born January 17, 1948 in Paris , France ) is a French pianist .

Live and act

Queffélec was born the daughter of the writer Henri Queffélec . She is the sister of the author Yann Queffélec .

After training at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris , she studied with Alfred Brendel in Vienna .

She won first prizes at the international piano competitions in Munich (1968) and Leeds (1969), which was followed by an international career. Quéffelec performed, for example, at the Proms in London, the Festival de La Roque-d'Anthéron or the Folle Journée ( Nantes ).

In 1990 she received the instrumental soloist of the year award at the Victoires de la musique classique .

Personal

She is the mother of the pianist Gaspard Dehaene (* 1987).
