Annika Fröhlich (born May 1, 1986 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player who was active for the Munich clubs FC Bayern and FFC Wacker from 2005 to 2013 .

Career

Fröhlich was part of the Bayern Munich squad for the 2005/06 season and played seven games in the Bundesliga , in which, however, she remained goalless. She made her debut on April 2, 2006 (15th matchday) in the 4-0 defeat in the away game against FCR 2001 Duisburg with a substitute for Kathleen Krüger in the 60th minute. In the following season she was also a member of the squad, but was not used in any point game.

After her studies - she already played for the student national team - she joined the second division FFC Wacker Munich for the 2009/10 season , for which she did not, however, play in the league. However, she played both relegation games against the table tenth in the northern group to stay in the class, which Holstein Kiel secured by 1-0 in the second leg in Kiel .

From the 2010/11 to 2012/13 season she was active with the team in the third- tier Regionalliga Süd and played 33 games and scored eleven goals during this period. She scored her first two on September 5, 2010 (2nd matchday) in a 3-2 win at home against Germania Wiesbaden .

In the 2013/14 season she was assistant coach for the regional division FFC Wacker Munich.

Others

As a student, Fröhlich took part in the Universiade in Bangkok in 2007 and in Belgrade in 2009 . On June 30, July 3 and July 4, 2009 she played the three group matches over 90 minutes each against the student teams of Korea (0: 4), Brazil (0: 3) and South Africa (7: 2). In the placement games 9th to 12th place she was used on July 8th in the 4-0 victory over the Serbian team for 90 minutes and in the game for 9th place 15 minutes in the 2-0 defeat against the Polish team.
