Anton Gratzhofer

Anton Gratzhofer (born December 13, 1863 in Völkermarkt ; † March 30, 1922 ( suicide ) in Klagenfurt ) was a hat maker and member of the Austrian House of Representatives .

Life

Anton Gratzhofer was the son of the hat maker of the same name Anton Gratzhofer († 1896). He was also a hat maker in Völkermarkt and after 1918 a private civil servant in Klagenfurt .

He was also vice mayor of international market and there from June to December 1918 mayor .

Anton Gratzhofer was a Roman Catholic and had been married to Friederike Lierg since 1889, with whom he had a son. He committed suicide on March 30, 1922 by shooting.
